Caleb, Chevy, Coach Stephen and J- Caleb played a few years in public school and he said this league was meaner than Wake County Public Schools. Our team did play at least one team that had players that wore ankle bracelets and another team that had a few kids form the halfway house. We had some intimidating games this season and a few kids suffered concussions. We certainly didn't go undefeated like last year but if you have to endure a rough season, at least endure it with families and kids that you genuinely love. We did just that. Webb says he wants to just sit on the sidelines next year or assist. I think he is ready for a few months off from coaching. Baseball tryouts are next month but we will enjoy family time until that starts up in March.
Thank you, Jesus, for keeping Jackson safe all season and thank you for healthy boys that have healthy bodies that allow them to do the things that they most enjoy. It's a blessing to get to watch them grow and play. May they glorify you, through it all! |
