Winter Games

Unfortunately, we've not been hit with a big winter storm this year; we've simply made the most with the little bit of snow and ice that has fallen around the White house.  It's obvious that we don't see enough of the white stuff around here.

The weather has been cold lately and we've been indoors more than we'd prefer.  I've lost count of the multiple times we've cleaned up Legos, play dough, books and markers in a 12 hour period.  The great thing is that NC's winters always include 60 degree days and those days are included in next week's forecast.  How awesome is it that we get to enjoy snow and ice and a few days later, we get to enjoy spring temperatures!

Cousins Play Dates

Everyone is feeling better at the White house.  We've been hit by some flu-like viruses over the past five weeks.  Sawyer and I were the latest victims but for the two of us, the virus was short-lived and we are bouncing back today.  Webb took the day off to help with school, among other things.  We are hoping to get outside today and enjoy a few hours of the unseasonable temperatures.

Over the past few weeks, we've enjoyed basketball games, both Jackson's and NC State's, we've been on a few family outings, and we've enjoyed a few get togethers with some of the cousins.
